(2) RULES:
Rules for Sportsman will follow the 2008 DIRT
Rule Book.
(3) PROCEDURAL RULES:
¨ Heat races will be lined up according
to a pill draw. You will draw as you enter the
back gate.
¨ Cars Starting will be up to the home
track
¨ The only guaranteed cars are those in
the top 5 in points at the competing track. If
you must use your guaranteed starting position,
you will forfeit last place money.
¨ All Races will start minimum 24 cars, Any
additional starters over 24 are at the event
promoter’s discretion.

(7) 100% Attendance SERIES BONUS:
As an added bonus, drivers in their respective
series will split a $2500.00 for the 100%
Attendance Series bonus. To be eligible for
this bonus, you must compete in all 4 races.
For example, if 10 drivers compete in all 4
Lucas Oil Eastern Sportsman Races, each of the
10 drivers will receive $250.
(8) THE LUCAS OIL CHALLENGE CUP FOR SPORTSMAN:
- A one time event to be held at Brighton
Speedway on Friday, September 26th.
- Each Lucas Oil Shootout Winner from the East
and the West will be a guaranteed starter for
the Main Event which pays $1,500 to win.
- In addition each Lucas Oil Shootout Winner
from the East and the West will also compete in
the Dirt Track Digest.com Sportsman All Star
Race for a $1,000.00 to win 15 Lap All Star Race
- If a driver wins a second qualifying race, the
guaranteed starting spot will go to the second
place finisher of the second win.
- In victory lane at Brighton, the winner will
declare a home track. That track will receive a
$3500.00 Sponsorship towards 2009
